Honey Singh VS Imran Khan : Which side are you on?
Recently, Imran Khan’s been busy! He’s put out a new video to Satisfya, and is working on his new album. He’s also stirring up some debate about HoneySingh.
Rapper Yo! Yo! HoneySingh, on the other hand, has also been busy, coming out with a brand new single Bebo, which is set to release really soon. Apart from that, HoneySingh just missed his second court date at the HC, for vulgar lyrics. An accusation he denied by saying that he was framed.
No one came up in the scene [to compete], I’m waiting. It would be challenging for me as well… But there’s nothing out there. – Imran Khan
Regardless of anything, two big heads such as Imran Khan and HoneySingh are bound to collide at times. Is a beef eminent between the two? In a recent interview, Imran Khan was asked about his opinions on Honey Singh, to which he completely disregarded the artist. Going on to say that he had never heard of him.

When asked about his long break, the confident Imran Khan joked, “I’m coming up with something new. And giving other artists a chance to [compete], you know. It’s not nice if I take everything.” He also added, “In the three years since the Unforgettable album, no one came up in the scene [to compete], I’m waiting. It would be challenging for me as well, you know. But there’s nothing out there.” Shortly after this television interview, he went to BBC 1 Radio and had no clue about Honey Singh, yet again. I smell Beef! Not just steak, though, but some Desi Beef with the spiciest masalas!

When Nihal asked him directly if he knew HoneySingh, he bluntly replied, “No.” The interview with BBC 1’s Nihal was, no doubt, a good listen. Imran Khan, however, did mention more promising things about his upcoming project. “The second album is going to be beyond my level. I’m not going to change the world, but I’ll definitely drop something brand new that no one has heard of before.”
So what do you think? Is a rivalry between the two about to blow up and make the Punjabi and Desi music scene flip? If so, which side are you on?
