Gippy Grewal is a Punjabi artist who reigned 2011 as the Desi Rockstar courtesy of his smash album. Now taking a step back and remembering the power greater than he is, Gippy’s next album, Talwar, is a religious, social album. His new song “Kawaan Diya Daarran” features Honey Singh.

The song has an edgy production which Honey Singh brings to the table.  Gippy manages to record a moving song without sounding dated and old. His message is timeless, but the music is current.
