Ice Cube is the executive producer of Hip Hop Squares a new game show for VH1. Which is based on the classic American game show Hollywood Squares according to the Hollywood Reporter.

“When VH1 asked us to join the producing team, we jumped aboard as we have had success with VH1, and we love their team, excitement, and commitment to the show.” He said.

The network has ordered at least 20 episodes of the show, which is slated to debut in the fall. Real Life Tic-tac-toe game will pit celebrity contestants against each other in a pop culture quiz with questions coming from different hip-hop artists, comedians and entertainers seated in the squares of the big board. “‘Hip Hop Squares’ is going to be fun and spontaneous, unlike typical game shows, viewers should never know what’s going to happen next.” Ice Cube said in a statement.
