Top 10 Hip Hop Singles Of The Week – Tech N9ne, Yelawolf, Eminem

Eminem teams up with both Tech N9ne and Yelawolf for new songs

Eminem is at the top of the most popular singles of the week list twice over this week as a featured guest on songs from Tech N9ne and Yelawolf respectively. Rounding out the Top 3, DX compiled the first part of a list of the most memorable NSFW Hip Hop videos ever with nods to artists like French Montana, The Weeknd, and more.

Lower down the list, Yelawolf drops off another Love Story single, Nas features on a new De La Soul track, and Glasses Malone pulls a Kendrick Lamar feature for “Thuggin.”

Tech N9ne Enlists Eminem & Krizz Kaliko For “Speedom”

After being announced months ago, Tech N9ne’s Eminem new collaboration with Eminem, “Speedom,” was released at the top of this week. The verse is just the second we’ve heard from Em this year—the first was released last week in the form of a feature on Yelawolf’s “Best Friend”—and the production was handled by Strange Music’s resident beatsmith Seven. Tech’s longtime collaborator Krizz Kaliko also pulls a verse on the breathless sequel to the first “Worldwide Choppers.”

Yelawolf & Eminem Team Up For “Best Friend”

The only feature on Yelawolf’s sophomore album is his label-boss Eminem and the Alabama-native let loose the track at the top of last week. With a show-stopping guest verse from Eminem in tow, Yela sings and raps about his faith, hardships, and growing up in the Bible Belt. For his part, Em gets fired up on the track with a blinding flurry of multi-syllable bars and references to his fallen friend and fellow rapper Proof.

The Shady Records 1-2 punch released visuals for “Best Friend” earlier this week.
