From mainstream to underground, this list is full of talented musicians who gave it their best in 2013. After receiving 23,270 votes, the category was closed and the results are in! The song itself represents a dope Punjabi style, which got merged with a tight beat, and they topped it off with some intense rap verses that pulled it all together to make it a hit single. 7- Adil Omar, Haroon Rashid – The Lady In Black

Adil Omar, one of the dopest Pakistani rappers, collaborated with Haroon Rashid to write a song about theBurka Avenger titled “Lady in Black”. The song is upbeat and entertaining, one for all your ipods, iphones, itunes, whatever.

6- Black Zang, Big Spade, Mogz – Eita Hip Hop

One of Bangladesh’s top Hip Hop crews, Uptown Lokolz, returns to the scene with their second music video in 2013. This one’s titled ‘Eita Hip Hop’ which translates to ‘This is Hip Hop’. And rightlyso. This brand new Hip Hop banger from Dhaka is packed with tight flows, and very lyrical Bangladeshi rappers including underground rappers Young Glaze, A Khan and Golam. 4- Bohemia, Devika – Beparwah

Bohemia’s Beparwah is one for all of his fans. The video got released after a 2 year delay but it did a great job at branding Bohemia throughout 2013!

3- Blazin Annex, Green Coast – HWMC

It is a collaboration between a Hip Hop group in the United States, and another Hip Hop group in South Asia. You’re like, “What’s so special, we’ve seen videos shot all across the globe, from France, to LA, to India,” right? Well, yeah, that’s true. But this video was a collaboration across the seas from the beginning to the end. Two production companies, two recording studios, two Hip Hop groups, two of everything, half of which was in New York, the other half in Bangladesh. And that sort of globalization deserves some respect!

Lazarus just laid it down on all of us with his single with Jadakiss. Yes, I said Jadakiss, THE legendary Jadakiss. The Rapper/Doctor, Lazarus,always makes waves with everything he does. As always, Lazarus inspires people to be their best. This kind of hard work ethic can truly turn any dream into reality, and push people towards greatness.

1- Pak-Man, I-Khan – LaLaLa

Pak-Man dropped a lot of ‘lyrical bombs’ in 2013, out of which this collab song with I-Khan really took Hip Hop to the next level. This song received more than 8,000 votes and became the clear winner after some days of voting.
