For some of you who may not know the Dewarists is a musical television series on Star World India. The series is part music documentary and part travelogue.The show casts musicians from various parts of the world, collaborating to create original music while travelling across India. Known Desi hip hop artist Humble the Poet took part in this last year when he collaborated with Midival Punditz. For some of you may not know this is what a Dewarists is:

Dewarists believe in passion and things worth doing. Their motto is Some Things Are Worth Doing. They cast musicians from different genres from different places. By the end of the journey they record a song that will reflect each of their genres and also it reflects the sounds and culture of the place they belong and travel. It is a movement to identify Dewarists in the realm of music, who follow their passion. The show aims to inspire audiences to follow their dreams and do what they believe in.

Now the show has featured another desi hip hop artist, Brooklyn Shanti. Shanti took the opportunity to introduce the viewers to what he believes is India next bass collective, consisting of himself, Nucleya and Mou Sultana and created video called: “Bangla Bass” which you can watch below:
