Sikander Kahlon Mixtape
San Cha
Insane [Prod. Stimey Beats]
In what is phenomenally his third body of work released this year, Mohali rapper Sikander Kahlon has released his new mixtape ‘SIKmatic,’ inspired by Nas’ ‘Illmatic,’ an album which has shaped many a career since it’s 1992 release.
Featuring predominantly ‘east-coast’ production, as one would hope for by it’s title, Sikander has also recruited underground heavyweights Rob C, the HK, Enkore, Navi Virk and more.
The Kala Kurta Gang MC released ‘The Khanda,’ ‘Dass’ and ‘Yaar’ as his three promotional singles in the build-up to today’s release and even album snippets a few days back. Quite visibly.
