R@PLU$T Debut Album ‘Reality Bites’ OUT NOW!
R@PLU$T had released only 2 videos for his debut album and by GOD’s grace both made it to MTV India & Pepsi MTV Indies. But it didn’t come easy. For his 1st video of the album (“My City, My Country!”), he had to apply 3 times and get the changes made twice before he was finally offered a censor board certificate. Similarly, R@PLU$T made 3 rounds of Censor board office at Delhi and 2 rounds of court to get the required documents despite being down with fever at 101 degrees before finally getting his certificate approved.
Famous Bollywood actor & comedian, Vir Das showed appreciation for his “The Journey” video
His song “Lost Legends” from the album featuring talented Chandigarh rapper, Rob C, was also nominated under “Best Hip-Hop Song” category by VIMA ASIA music awards 2014.
He collaborated on both domestic & international level with some elite rappers who featured on his album. None of them charged money for the collab but did it for the Love of Hip-Hop & respect for R@PLU$T’s work. On domestic level, he got artists such as Naezy (hitmaker of songs such as Birju, Meri gully mein) and Rob C (collaborated with Mika for “Ishq ki ma ki”) to work on “Reality Bites”.
