“Afra Tafreeh” – @YngBone Feat. @SunnyKhanDurrani

Flow: 6/10
Delivery: 6:10
Beat: 7/10
Content: 7/10
Quality: 6/10
Overall: 6.4/10

Afra Tafreeh by Young Bone and Sunny Khan Durrani was a pretty fun song to listen to. These two artists went hard with some careful lyrical skills that I thoroughly enjoyed throughout. The artists just need to work on improving the song quality, and the chorus. I know that through practice, and inspiration, they can improve the chorus/hooks and make a bigger impact with it.

“Blackout” – @OfficialRanaSaab

Flow: 8/10
Delivery: 8/10
Beat: 8/10
Content: 7/10
Quality: 4/10
Overall: 7/10

Rana Saab started off the song really strong with dope flows that I enjoyed a lot. He had the ability to bring the attention towards his lyrics throughout the song. The entire song is dope Hip Hop song to listen to, the only problem was the quality of the recording. I can only imagine Rana Saab as one of the dopest if he got into a good studio and recorded tracks like this!

“Desi Hip-Hop” – BlackEyeGalaxy – @GuruLahori @TheMohanSingh @Vivik_Raj #RushToor

Flow: 8/10
Delivery: 8/10
Beat: 8/10
Content: 7/10
Quality: 6/10
Overall: 7.4/10

Guru Lahori, Mohan Singh, Vivik Raj, Rush Toor did a great job with this single. The flows in the first verse had me bobbin’ my head the whole time. The beat, too, was smooth, mellow, and dope. However, some of the rappers in the other verses could improve their delivery, which would make future songs like these epic for listeners.

“Light Up” (DJ Sanu BC Remix) – Joe Alam

Flow: 9/10
Delivery: 8/10
Beat: 3/10
Content: 5/10
Quality: 8/10
Overall: 6.6/10

Joe Alam worked with DJ Sanu on this track, and DJ Sanu’s beat is a mix of a number of Lil Wayne and Drake beats. For this contest, we did not want to pick any song with unoriginal beats, but Joe Alam’s flow, delivery and verse made us re-consider this song for the selection. I found his lyrical skills very impressive and had us bobbin’ our heads like none other.

“Rap Trap” – AP

Flow: 7/10
Delivery: 7/10
Beat: 5/10
Content: 6/10
Quality: 8/10
Overall: 6.6/10

AP had me impressed with this song. I’ll be honest, when the song started, I didn’t think I would like it. But, pretty soon, as his verse dropped, I was more and more impressed by it. Overall it’s a good listen, but AP needs to work a bit on his delivery and flow. Improving in those factors will heavily improve his next releases.

“DesiHipHop” – Rebel of KhanArtists

Flow: 8/10
Delivery: 9/10
Beat: 9/10
Content: 9/10
Quality: 7/10
Overall: 8.4/10

By far, one of the best songs in this contest. No doubt. Rebel’s flow was sick, and his lyrical skills on the mic is exceptional. The topic he spoke about opened my eyes to a number of issues and realities of this life. The beat was also produced by Rebel himself, and it has a total “epic” feel to it. Overall, this is one of the best songs in this collection.

“Thoughts All Around” – RSmug

Flow: 6/10
Delivery: 5/10
Beat: 8/10
Content: 6/10
Quality: 6/10
Overall: 6.2/10

This is a fun track to listen to by RSmug. Most of his verse is pretty good, and his flow is on point – most of the time. There are certain spots in the verses where he could have improved the verse, but other than that it’s a pretty straight forward flow. A little more practice, and a few more tracks under his belt will definitely lead to good results for RSmug.

“Tere Bina” – Sunny Khan Durrani Ft. Daniyal Haider

Flow: 5/10
Delivery: 5/10
Beat: 8/10
Content: 6/10
Quality: 8/10
Overall: 6.4/10

This song by Sunny Khan Durrani and Daniyal Haider came out to be a nice, mellow, love song. At first, I did not want to select this for the winners’ list. However, the smooth hooks, and the overall composition made me select it. Even though it came out well, my only suggestion would be that the rapper needs to rap in his own mother tongue rather than English. If the chorus and the verses were the same language, this song would seriously be one of the best in this collection – for real.

“B!tch I’m Pakistani” – Heartless Jr.

Flow: 7/10
Delivery: 7/10
Beat: 8/10
Content: 6/10
Quality: 8/10
Overall: 7.2/10

Heartless Jr. flowed well through this beat and made a nice product. The hook is catchy too. The vocal effect he had on his verses were interesting, however, I wish he removed the effect and had it similar to the way he did his hooks. But, either way, this was a pretty good song to listen to, and deserved to be one of the top 10.

“Desi Hip Hop” – GuruBhai GRB

Flow: 6/10
Delivery: 7/10
Beat: 8/10
Content: 6/10
Quality: 7/10
Overall: 6.8/10

GuruBhai’s ‘Desi Hip Hop’ started off with a nice, unique beat. The beat is simple, very simple, and that’s actually the best part about it. His verses are pretty good with a smooth, straight-forward flow. The content and topic was good and fun to listen to.

BONUS

“Nashe Main Dhutt” – The Badtameez Group

Flow: 6/10
Delivery: 5/10
Beat: 8/10
Content: 6/10
Quality: 6/10
Overall: 6.2/10

The Badtameez Group put together a very catchy track here. The entire song, overall, is a catchy and certain parts of the hooks are unforgettable. However, some parts of the track had some strange off-tune sections. Most of the verses were good as well, but, again, some verses were not that great. I think if the group works together to improve the quality, then their next songs will be great.
