Longtime rhyme partners Method Man and Redman have announced one Auckland show for September. The two rap legends, who have successful solo careers in the own rights, are heading to New Zealand as part of their Blackout tour that will also take them on a tour through Australia, performing songs from their collude albums Blackout (1999) and Blackout 2(2009).
Both albums have become fabulous hiphop classics. The duo, who are known for their hype shows, start their Australian Tour in Adelaide on the 8th September, and travel to Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
Method Man has been a hiphop star since his nominative cut from Enter the Wu-Tang first put Wu-Tang Clan on the map, and he strengthen the position with some of the best of the solo work to come out of the group, including Tical, Tical 2000: Judgement Day, Tical 0: The Prequel, 4.21 The Day After and The Meth Lab.
His reach has long extended beyond music, with a successful acting career that included outstanding roles in The Wire, Oz and Belly. He also starred in the cult-classic comedy How High with Redman.
