HipHop has a “Cocktail” with Bollywood starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone.

HipHop has been steadily making headway into Bollywood music ever since Bohemia’s Chandni Chawk to China featuring Akshay Kumar to Haji Springer’s Shake It Saiyyan featuring Sanjay Dutt.  The producers of Cocktail are also betting heavy on the HipHop influenced music of Cocktail to drive audiences into the theaters.  Yo Yo Honey Singh already has two songs in the movie.

Cocktail also has another hard hitting super producer duo from the UK, Kray Twinz for the song “Second Hand Jawani”.  Kray Twinz are the masterminds behind Panjabi MC’s “Mundiya To Bach Ke” ft. Jay-Z which became a club behemoth hitting number 1 spots across the world and have also worked with the likes of DMX, Jay-Z, Keysha Cole, Truth Hurts, Elephant man, Mr. Vegas, Sly Boogie, Technique, and Pharcyde to name a few.  Check out “Some Boy”, Kray Twinz’s original song that inspired “Second Hand Jawani”
