GodFather remakes Imran Khan’s “Aaja We Mahiya”! From the crew D-Raptorz out of the Underground Hip-Hop scene in New Delhi, GodFather is no stranger to the rap game. He’s even taken his Hip-Hop hustle to the mainstream on India’s Got Talent Season 3 and was selected for the final 64. Hip-Hop in India is still a fairly new concept and will take a another few years for the media and masses to completely accept and adopt…and when that time comes, we’re hoping to see more “GodFathers” compete and represent Hip-Hop in India!

Who is Godfather? “I’m just a simple guy from new delhi, 21 years grown, real name amanpreet singh, pursuing computer engg. stepped in this hip hop scene 3 years ago. with some english raps.. and then realized that my national languages are best for me.”

What is your Motivation? “EAch and every good thing which came between me and my music motivated me.. motivating parents, supporting frens, and when i got a bit positive response from my listeners and india’s got talent too i decided to make it Bigg!”

Which artists Inspire you? “I’m more into sufi nusrat fateh ali khan sahab, arif lohar, my lyrical skills are just polished by listening to these two masterpiece, Eminem inspired me to rap And Last But Not The Least BOHEMIA worked as a trigger!”

What do you have coming up for 2012? “Planned 4 tracks with official videos, rather than hindi and punjabi rap m tryna do RnB too!(If Succeeded):P”
