Our very own Desi Hiphop artist, Swami Baracus, fan of both cricket and football, recently just scored his own hat-trick, scooping not one, not two but THREE bronze awards at the Bite My Music (BMM) Global Awards 2012!
The music world is difficult to conquer, especially being an independent artist, but the BMM Awards were created in an attempt to provide independent and unsigned artists with a voice, uniting them all together on one global platform and celebrating loudly the music they bring to the world.
With over one thousand acts from over fifty countries participating across the globe, just being nominated was a great achievement for Baracuda in itself. Now walking away with three bronze awards under his belt, for Best Hip-Hop Act, Best Hip-Hop Song and Best Cross Genre for Break This Game, Baracus should be damn proud of himself, as are we. Small steps make for giant leaps and it really is great to see our Desi Hiphop artists making moves not just here in the UK, but globally too.
Massive congratulations going out to the one and only Baracuda from the Desi HipHop team and we hope you’ll all join us in congratulating him on this brilliant achievement. Long live the Baracuda and long live the movement!
