The Polish Institute New Delhi and Reggae Rajahs are delighted to presentthe Polish Institute 1 Year Anniversary celebrations in Bangalore and New Delhi. The event will feature the some of the finest reggae, soul and funk artists from Poland including Marika, Dancehall Masak-Raf, Junior Stress & Ras Tooh alongside Indian heavyweight reggae entertainers the Reggae Rajahs. After the success of the previous 4 city India tour supported by Polish Institute earlier this year for Reggae Rajahs 4th Anniversary (with Dreadsquad and Kasia Maleda), this is sure to re-live the same energy and excitement.

About Marika
Polish singer, songwriter, composer. Her style is a mixture of reggae, funk and soul music. Hailed as the First Lady of Polish Dancehall. Best known for energetic shows, strong voice and conscious lyrics.
She started her career in 2002 with the soundsystem Bass Medium Trinity, and released a very well-received album 'You say, and you have' in 2004 which became a pioneering and historical album in Poland.
Marika has played hundreds of shows in clubs throughout the country and abroad (USA, Canada, France, UK, Ireland, Germany, China). She supported artists such as Sean Paul, Missy Elliott, Macy Gray, Gentleman, NAS, Damian Marley, Julian Marley and Inner Circle.
In summer 2007 she released her first single "My Heart" with the producer duo Juniorbwoy. This song became a hit (more than 2 million views on YouTube.) Marika's latest double album "Put your shoes on/Take your shoes off " is nominated for FRYDERYK 2011 - the Polish Association of the Phonographic Industry Award. About Dancehall Masak-Rah & Junior Stress
Dancehall Masak-Rah was formed in 2008 by veteran Dancehall/Reggae selector 27Pablo and one of the leading DJs/singers - Junior Stress Son of King Stress, established selector for the legendary Polish Love Sensi Music sound. They started a small weekly dance in Warsaw which soon grew to be the most popular weekly event in Poland.
The crew became the premiere Dancehall sound in Poland and playing at numerous festivals and events bringing dynamic entertainment and introducing the finest Jamaican music to Polish public.
‘27Pablo’, one of the first reggae selectors in Poland celebrates 15 years in the business. Junior Stress one of the top reggae artists in Poland has released 2 albums, which are considered as classics in the Polish Reggae/Dancehall scene.

About Reggae Rajahs
Reggae Rajahs (Diggy Dang, DJ MoCity and Mr. Herbalist aka General Zooz) are India's first reggae sound system. Known for their energetic live performances, they are reggae entertainers and promoters based out of New Delhi.
Formed in 2009, Reggae Rajahs have dedicated themselves to spreading the sounds of reggae music across India. They frequently perform at clubs and live venues all over the country and have also performed at many festivals including Sunburn Festival (Goa), SulaFest (Nashik) and Ragasthan (Jaisalmer). They host their own stage at the NH7 Weekender Festival called the ‘Dubstation’ which has introduced thousands of people to dub based sounds over the last two years.
The year 2012 saw Reggae Rajahs make their first appearance on the European scene, playing club shows in Oslo and Budapest and performing at major festivals including Uprising (Slovakia) and Outlook (Croatia).
In January 2013, Reggae Rajahs were chosen as the opening act for Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion in New Delhi. They have also performed with a number of established international artists such as Dub Inc. (France), Million Stylez (Sweden), Ziggi Recado (Holland), Apache Indian, Mr. Williamz, Brother Culture, Soom T, Mungo's HI Fi (all UK), Supa Bassie & Sargento Garcia (Spain), Dreadsquad (Poland) and Subatomic Sound (USA).
Reggae Rajahs have also been nominated for the Best International Group award at the British Reggae Industry Awards (2012) alongside illustrious Jamaican artists such as Toots & the Maytals, Mighty Diamonds and Third World.
