Sonakshi Sinha’s Feminist Twist On ‘Love Dose’

Sonakshi Sinha has become the buzz of Bollywood once again and this time not due to her acting but actually rapping. She has worked with Yo Yo Honey Singh before in the video for Desi Kalaakar and it went on to be a huge mainstream success. She just re-established her professional relationship with him by doing her own version of ‘Love Dose’.

Sonakshi Sinha brings a Feminist ,'Love Dose'

Sonakshi Sinha is known for her acting and also because of her father and legendary actor, Shatrughan Sinha………………………………..KHAMOSH! Sonakshi Sinha had given a snippet of her vocal talents by singing in Akira, this time anyhow it is a little different she has rapped. In current times feminism which the common man often confuses with gender inequality have become a huge topic of discussion among social spheres. Every day you come across different narrations of incident and stories that promote gender equality, and equal rights for women. This song is a super feminist refix of Honey Singh’s rap and is clearly indicative of what is Sonakshi Sinha’s take on it.

Sonakshi Sinha gives an unusual twist to Yo Yo Honey Singh’s Love Dose and nails it

Just a few days ago Bombay witnessed The Global Citizen Festival in which was graced by the presence and performances of artists like Jay Z, Coldaplay and A.R. Rehman. From what I heard the concert was epic and Sonakshi Sinha too was present at the event. She performed her version of the Honey Singh’s rap in Love Dose and was hugely popular. A few have even gone ahead to say that they wished the original sounded as sensible and as dope as this.
