Raftaar Stands Up For Women In ‘Aurat’

The whole Bangalore eve teasing fiasco has stirred up a lot of emotions and Raftaar decided to address this issue via his trademark style. He dropped a free verse called, ‘Aurat‘ during an interview on Radio City with RJ Yuvi.

He has expressed his disgust about the event on social media. He was also ticked off about the fact that mainstream rappers are being targeted due to their lyrics and music being about objectifying women. He always tries to keep himself socially relevant and his thoughts about the Bangalore incident are a proof. Raftaar never fails to deliver meaningful bars when it comes to socially relevant topics.

From the start to the end all his bars are food for thought and put you in a state of wonder. This track is a testimony to the fact that actions speak louder than words, he was targeted by a few media channels and newspapers for making objectionable music and with this presentation he proved why he is different from other rappers in his league.
