If you are a hardcore hip hop follower then you must definitely know about the hip-hop duo Outkast. The duo consists of Andre 3000 and Big Boi. The group was formed in the 90’s and were hugely popular hip-hop crews of that time. But, soon after the huge popularity, Outkast went onto a hiatus. This mainly happened because the artists moved on to take an individual career.

But you might be wondering why we are talking about this Hip-hop crew now?

The reason is quite justified. The speculation began to rise when Killer Mike and Big Boi posted some pictures to their individual social media profiles. The picture was not like any other Instagram or Twitter pic but a special one as it features Big Boi, Andre 3000, Killer Mike and Run The Jewels counterpart EI-P all under one roof.

All the hip hop lovers soon started to comment on social media about the indication that they all are working on some secret projects together and praying for the same. But as per some reports, the picture was taken just after the RTJ performance at a private show for Vevo at Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City on April 25.

In the past couple of years, rumours of Outkast’s reunion have come up. Most recently, Andre 3000 said that there was no “Outkast news to report” in September 2016 when Gucci Mane mistakenly claimed that he was in the studio for them but the verse was featured for Big Boi’s solo album.

After the hiatus, Outkast has seen reunited for a bunch of shows in the past but they have never worked on as a duo ever since as both are happy with their individual careers. The duo together has given a number of hit tracks like “Hey Yaa”, “Miss Jackson” to name a few.

Outkast is also known as one of the most successful hip-hop groups of all time and received six Grammy Awards and also sold more than 25 million records worldwide.

At the end, we can only hope that whatever going down between them will benefit hip-hop fans as we all are eagerly waiting for an Outkast album.

Till then enjoy watching “Miss Jackson” here:
