President Donald Trump’s executive order banning immigrants and refugees from seven Muslim majority countries from entering the United States shook the whole world and the repercussions are still to come.
From the day it was announced, we have seen a lot of people protest and standing against the order. A number of celebrities boycotted the President’s order by posting on social media and raising their voices on the issue.
The Hip Hop community did not stay behind in contributing to the protest as a lot of rappers in the United States are mainly children of immigrants settled in the country from different parts of the world, like 99% of America are immigrants in some form or another.
Recently ‘Noyz’ an MC from Brampton announced his support through social media. He informed that for any purchase made on his Bandcamp website, he will be donating 100% of the money to the American Civil Liberties Union, an organization working to fight last week’s Executive order banning people 7 Muslim majority countries from entering the United States.
