Naezy and Ranveer Singh At Mehboob Studios

Actor Ranveer Singh, who has been said to always stay in the news for his wittiness and style seems to have shifted his focus towards Indian Hip-Hop music. There was a news that left the underground in shock that Zoya Akhtar is directing a movie which will be based on the life of a street rapper’s dreams and the question of the hour was who’s going to play the rapper? Yes, that would be none other than Ranveer Singh. It is also rumoured that this movie is going to be based on the lives of Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy. Ranveer recently released ‘Don’t Hold Back‘ in association with Jack & Jones where we wrote and spat the whole track. People are guessing it as a rehearsal for the movie.

Yesterday, Stan Smith‘s visit at Mehboob Studio was an anticipated event. Stan is an American Tennis player who won the 1972 Wimbledon and is now a sneaker icon. He was in Mumbai for an event to promote Adidas’ gears and Ranveer came out to host the event and promote the brand as he has always been a fan. But, no one expected Naezy to be there. His fans were surprised to see him with Ranveer because anything related to the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actor turns out to be big. Last night, he posted images from the event and it seems that Ranveer and Naezy are hanging out together these days.

It seems like they all are working together for a common goal or Ranveer is getting tips from artists like Naezy and Divine for his upcoming movie. There are no official announcements made for the cast or title of the movie yet. A few days ago, Divine posted a video of Ranveer Singh spitting lines from Divine’s major hit ‘Jungli Sher‘ which went viral on the Facebook in a few hours.

Indian Hip-Hop music is getting it’s recognition and that’s what matters for us. Artists like them are one step closer to their dreams and that proves the phrase “Hardwork is the key to success”.
