Merry Mother Loving Christmas

With Christmas spirits high this is that time of the year where everyone is singing their traditional carols and warming up for Christmas. Well, this article will just make you replace those traditional carols with some Christmas rap tracks.

So Let’s count down the three forever evergreen Christmas tracks that I love.

Eazy-E- Merry Muthafuckin’ Xmas

The west coast OG had a differentiated sound and this is one of the most celebrated track of his. The beat samples ‘Jingle Bells’ Oh so smoothly. OG lyricism from Easy-E with such a groove flow. The track paints a picture so vivid about Santa being from the Ghetto and is from the debut EP from Eazy-E ‘5150: Home 4 tha Sick’. This is a true ‘Christmas in Compton’ . Rest In Peace Eazy-E

Ludacris – Ludacrismas

Originally from the movie ‘Fred Claus; . This is vintage Ludacris with that southern flow and a bass centered beat. Released in 2007 this track is basically Ludacris perspective on Christmas and how he celebrated it and how will he further celebrate it. This samples carols and has one of the nicest southern hooks.

RUN-DMC – Christmas In Hollis

Trust me when I say this no Christmas list is complete without An RUN-DMC track. This track dropped back way back in 1987 and is till date one of the best holiday-themed track. This is vintage way back and a classic to be precise. RUN-DMC was known to have wicked Hip Hop vibes in their videos and this is the perfect mix of Hip Hop and Christmas. This track is a Christmas present to all of us.
