There is no denying that Desi hip-hop has become a popular genre of music. and a lot of underground artists have got recognition and fame in the past couple of years. One such artist is Divine, a rapper who hails from the neighbourhood called JB Nagar in Mumbai and achieved the taste of success at a very young age. He along with Naezy, another artist from the Mumbai Chawls have featured in the Rolling Stone Magazine’s India edition. They have made some great songs together and respectively which have become wildly popular on YouTube and other platforms.
Both these hip-hop artists are heading for a show with none other than Nucleya. Considered as one of the best DJ’s in the country, he has grown an extremely large audience in both India and abroad. In spite of being born and raised in Ahmedabad, a city not particularly known for his thriving bass music scene, the star-paved his own way to the top. He started off with the ‘Bandish Projekt’ even before he had finished school.
Now, it looks like Nucleya is returning to his hometown Ahmedabad to perform for the ‘Red Bull Tour Bus’ on March 18th, 2017. This show is predicted to be one of his greatest shows in the country and with the addition of Divine and Naezy will light the city on fire.
Apart from this, the Red Bull Tour Bus gig will also form a part of a film called ‘Ride To The Roots’. The film will look back at one of India’s most established musicians and will take Nucleya on a journey as he retraces his roots, back home in Ahmedabad. Reminiscing and reliving the experiences that brought him to where he stands today in the world. Through the magic of retold stories of people and places, the film will introduce fans to a side of the artist’s life that, although documented, remains uncharted from within.
