Delhi Are You Ready…? Elements Launches This Friday! – And It’s A Free Event

Hip Hop culture in India has been witnessing steady growth in recent years, a lot of artists have emerged from scene and have been building their fanbases from across the country. However, when it comes to live events, apart from the mainstream  and commercial US sound, there’s been a literal block and not much of what we see or hear online from the ‘real hip hop community’ makes it’s way on to the live circuit.

Clubs and bars have now steadily starting to help the movement by inviting these artists to perform at their nights and promoters like DADA and Sound & The City are pushing the new wave to the fullest.

The Capital of India, Delhi, in particular is about to witness the same, but this it on an impressively scale. I feel the Elements Launch Party is going to act like a catalyst for these sort of events for all the hip-hop heads moving forward, not only the Capital, but across India as a whole. So, if you are a hip-hop head, this is going to be a dream come true.

Elements Delhi

Elements, Presented by Sound & The City and DesiHipHop.com, will launch on February 24, 2017,  at the Summer House Cafe, Aurobindo Market, Hauz Khas in Delhi from 8 P.M. onwards. This hip-hop night is being partnered by big names in the music business like Saavn for music streaming, Radio One for radio promotions, Bedlam for visuals, Dada as a label partner and Performers’ Consortium as artist partner.

Hip-Hop has always been for the people,  and to keep that tradition going, entry to the venue is free and open for everyone (club rules still apply). This party is going to be one of a kind, go and witness graffiti artists, b-boys, beatboxers, poets and some of the best hip-hop acts like DJ Karma, Prabh Deep, Sez, Big Deal, DJ Panic, Sun J with Khatarnaak Crew and Delhi’s very own The Capital Crew perform for the very first time under the same roof. Dope no…?

All of these artists are known for delivering their best to entertain the crowd that they perform for and if you haven’t heard about them, this is the perfect opportunity to familiarise yourself with some of the best live hip hop the country has to offer.
