88rising is a force to be reckoned with. As a matter of fact, the company aims towards promoting Asian culture worldwide. The management and media company has slayed 2017 so far with drops from artists such as Rich Chigga, XXXTentacion, Keith Ape and more.
“A lot of people are wondering, ‘What is 88rising, exactly? Is it a YouTube channel? A management company? Is it a record label? It’s actually everything. Our general ethos is that we want to push this shit forward. It’s not like, ‘Hey, we’re trying to change people’s perceptions of Asians.’ We’re just doing it by being alive.” – Sean Miyashiro 88rising Founder (In an interview with pitchfork)
Furthermore, their YouTube channel is one of the fastest growing accounts. 88rising’s channel houses a lot of videos of different genres and even vlogs by a lot of favourite artists. Their most viewed drop is ‘Gospel’ which featured a dream line up of Rich Chigga, Keith Ape and XXXTentacion. The video which is just the track, currently sits at 17 million views and is produced by RONNY J.
