Agsy Cemented Her Position As A FemCee By Dropping ‘Wasted Love’

Valentine’s Day just went by and like every year some of us were happy and some of us were disappointed. But, it was a remarkable date for a few artists. One of those few artists is Agrita Dhawan, who is renowned by her stage name Agsy. She is a hip-hop artist from Faridabad, Haryana who is lethal when it comes to spitting rhymes over a beat. Agsy was recently featured on our website for covering a segment of Eminem‘s ‘Rap God‘ and now she is here with her latest music video “Wasted Love‘.

‘Wasted Love’ came out on this Valentine’s Day. It is about a girl who catches her love cheating on him and how the shock of catching him with some else helped her in becoming an independent carefree girl. Agsy has spat lyrics on the after effects of a break-up and on the transformation itself. It’s not a fresh idea but the way she has done it is completely different from the ones we have already witnessed.

“I like it when you tease me, when you please me when you make a point/But don’t decide our relationship by flipping a coin” is the line that grabbed my attention. It’s her rap debut and trust me, it doesn’t feel like it. Her delivery is on point and it’s clear that her vision wasn’t distracted while writing these lyrics at all.

‘Wasted Love’ was recorded at Pyscholab Music over a beat which was produced by Aero Chord. The track was mixed and mastered by Talwar who is associated with ArtisttanJay has directed the video which later edited by Gaurav Gandhi. Visual Effects on this video were handled by Rishabh Gangal.
